WHAT ITS LIKE RIDING THE RAILS THROUGH FOLSOM TODAY

FOUND THIS VIDEO LINK ON YOUTUBE.  STILL BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY AND NOT A LOT HAS CHANGED ALONG THE RIGHT OF WAY.  GLAD TO SEE IT STILL BEING USED.  REMEMBER IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN FINDING OUT MORE CHECK OUT THE PSVRR.ORG WEBSITE FOR UPDATED EXCURSION INFORMATION.  YOU CAN TAKE A RIDE BACK IN TIME TO THE 1860'S WHEN THIS LINE WAS FIRST BUILT! ITS AMAZING SCENERY AND AN INCREDIBLY RICH HISTORICAL FIXTURE FOR OUR COMMUNITY AND OUR COUNTRY.  CONNECTED TO THE VERY FIRST RAILROAD WEST OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER,  IN 1865 THE PLACERVILLE BRANCH WAS INITIALLY TO BE PART OF THE TRANS-CONTINENTAL RAILROAD BUT A DIFFERENT ROUTE WAS EVENTUALLY CHOSEN OVER THE SIERRAS.
